Back home, we were pleased that this year we have been able to make more trips to Lincolnshire to visit John and Liz, Mikki’s uncle and aunt.  Mikki was touched by the confidence Liz showed in asking her to select a new computer.  We hope it is still working and she can see this page!

We still enjoy our time with the British Senate of Junior Chamber International.  In August, we also benefited from lovely weather during a weekend in Hampshire.  during the year, we both also helped the London Chamber (now called, "JCI London") with debating and public speaking.

September and October were times of celebration and reflection as we both marked the 25th anniversary of important events.  For Mikki, it was 25 years with Barclays Bank.  We both went to a celebratory lunch with Mikki’s colleagues and felt very welcome.  The portable DVD player the Bank gave Mikki as a long service gift contributed to this year’s massive growth in our DVD collection!
