In 1992, we were staying with a friend in Winter Park, Florida (north of Orlando) when we heard about something new at Walt Disney World, called the Disney Vacation Club.  It was a new idea for Disney and they were offering great incentives to get it going.  Since then, the concept has expanded enormously and the price of the "points" has risen a lot.  We have enjoyed many holidays at DVC locations but we are happiest at our "home" resort, now known as Old Key West.
