Yes, it was a few years ago when you could meet these
astronauts and their pals over breakfast at the "Stargate Caf

Some Memorable Disney Moments
After many visits, we find the Disney cast and characters continue to weave
their magic - and can still pull a few surprises. This selection includes
some things that were planned and some that were happy coincidences: some
in Disney resorts and some in England: some organised by the Disney
Company and some by others. We think they - and many more - are memorable.

Ringing the bell
and announcing the opening of the Liberty Tree Tavern. Do they like asking
the British to shout out "Oyez! Oyez! Let Freedom reign"?

Seeing the Premier of “Fantasia
2000" at the Royal Albert Hall, London; hearing Roy Disney introduce the
piece in person; mixing “Pomp and Circumstance” in its most famous home with
Donald Duck; watching Mickey Mouse shake maestro Levine's hand in person.

Every vacation when we step for the
first time into the living room of a one bedroom apartment at our “home” DVC
resort of Old Key West. The size of that place is just “wow”.

Spending time with Margaret Kerry,
the reference model for Tinker Bell, including enjoying a small
private dinner with her in Warwick. She is a delightful lady.

The first time we saw the Main Street Electrical Parade

That last day of our vacation when we
were walking through the lobby of the Polynesian Resort and saying, "It’s been
a great holiday even if we haven’t met Mickey Mouse” - and suddenly there is
a three fingered white glove on Mikki’s shoulder.

Being recognised and welcomed by cast
members who have not seen us for 2 or 3 years (and must see thousands of other
people every day).

Mikki celebrating
one of those special birthdays with two of our best friends in WDW, having
breakfast with Mickey Mouse and starting the evening sipping Champagne on the
balcony of our apartment overlooking the lake and fountain at Old Key West.

Meeting Jodie Benson,
the voice of Ariel, the Little Mermaid, in London and hearing her sing to us
from only a few feet awayl

 |
Being upgraded to
the Concierge Floor of the Contemporary Resort for 3 nights

Seeing the
Opening Ceremony of a new Disney Park - Euro Disney. It rained and the taxi
driver claimed he had never heard of the place and the park changed its name
after a couple of years, but, We Were There!

Taking the Train
Tour at the Magic Kingdom. Visiting the Roundhouse and watching all the
safety checks. Extra special for Andrew, who used to act as lawyer to the
British Railway Inspectorate on safety matters.
